WEB Ben Joyce Joins Angels For MLB Debut
Joyce was drafted by the Angels in the 11th round of the 2022 MLB draft. He signed with the Angels on July 15, 2022, and was assigned to the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League Angels. Joyce made seven starts for the ACL Angels and went 3–1 with a 2.25 ERA.
Joyce was promoted to the Single-A Inland Empire 66ers on August 23, 2022. He started four games for the 66ers and went 1–1 with a 2.70 ERA. Joyce was promoted to the Double-A Rocket City Trash Pandas on September 6, 2022. He started three games for the Trash Pandas and went 1–1 with a 4.15 ERA.
