DeMar DeRozan Signs Multi-Year Deal with Chicago Bulls

Three-Year, $85 Million Contract

Bulls Acquire All-Star Guard in Sign-and-Trade Deal

DeMar DeRozan, an All-Star guard, has agreed to a three-year, $85 million contract with the Chicago Bulls. The deal was part of a sign-and-trade agreement with the San Antonio Spurs, according to a source familiar with the situation.

The Bulls will receive DeRozan, while the Spurs will acquire Thaddeus Young, Al-Farouq Aminu, and a protected 2025 first-round pick. The agreement will become official on Friday when the NBA's free agency moratorium is lifted.

This move significantly strengthens the Bulls' roster, adding a proven scorer and playmaker to a young and promising team. DeRozan averaged 21.6 points per game last season for the Spurs, along with 6.9 rebounds and 6.9 assists.
